Inspired by the Sailboat Metaphor–a “halyard” is the main rope used to hoist the sail of a sailboat–our name symbolizes the figurative act of “raising sails” in pursuit of personal, organizational, and community growth.  We're integrating research insights from applied social sciences and social network dynamics do design events and products that help people learn and apply principles that empower their growth and equip them to make greater contributions to the growth of others.
