WE ARE

Inspired by the Sailboat Metaphor–a “halyard” is the main rope used to hoist the sail of a sailboat–our name symbolizes the figurative act of “raising sails” in pursuit of personal, organizational, and community growth. Halyards integrate research insights from applied social sciences and social network dynamics to design events and products that help people learn and apply principles that empower their growth and equip them to make greater contributions to the growth of others.

Our initial launch of four hybrid Halyard experiences is currently in the "pilot testing" phase. We are currently seeking interested individuals in the greater Washington, DC area to participate.
